1. MINING

OK. Mining is the skill for ores. You take a pickaxe and go to a rock. If the option ‘Mine’ is there, you can mine ores. The ores can be smelted in a furnace to make a bar, and then hammered at an anvil to make weapons and armour. To mine some ores, you need to be a higher level, same with pickaxes.

COPPER/TIN – 5-10gp
IRON – 50-150gp

COAL – 150-200gp

MITHRIL -450-520gp

ADAMANT – 1.2K-1.5K

RUNE  – 11.5K-12.5K

These prices are from the Runescape Wiki, so may not be correct.

There is no point in selling tin and copper as it’s worth 5gp

Iron is the easiest to mine, as it comes back in seconds and sells for 100gp ea. If your a member you can go on the forums after you’ve collected a lot and sell it.

Coal takes 30 seconds to come back at least, so is harder to mine and worth more.

Mithril I can’t mine yet, but I know takes a while to come back.

Adamant is also pretty good but takes up to 3 minutes to come back after being mined.

Runite is obviously super valuable, but takes 12 minutes to come back. The best way to mine rune and addy is to world hop, which is quickly changing worlds.

Iron makes a lot of money, as it takes about 3 hours to mine 1K, which is worth 100K in coins. I personally mine iron in the Falador mines.
