Newcomer Help
Hey newcomers! All of you out there are starting Runescape, staring in awe at the videos you see of people owning the crap out of other people with whips and full dragon. You think “ZOMG!! I have to start this!!!!!” You start and find your guy with nothing and start cutting down trees. “Bo-ring!” You think and never play again. That’s what so many people I’ve seen do. The idea of the first place, ‘Tutorial Island’, is meant to teach you how to play and level up your skills. Then you can do anything you want and roam everywhere! It’s very good! Let me explain a few things I can do to help you that little bit more than others…
Ninja Jonty. That’s me. Well, if you start Runescape, I can give you something you desire. I think. Meh. I’m nice. If you wish to be a mage, I will give you mage robes, hat, bottom robes, a staff/elemental staff and some runes. I will also make a guide to the impossibly easy quest ‘Runes Mysteries Quest’ to help you with Runescrafting. You will also get 1000 coins.
If you wish to be a warrior, your ahead as I am really good at making warrior items. I can make full iron (nearly full steel, 3 more smithing levels to go!). Iron is free, steel will cost 1500 coins, which is a BARGAIN, seeing how it’s worth nearly 10K (10, 000 coins). I will also give you 1K. A weapon of your choice of course.
Ranged… We’re not going there. Ranged fails. End of story. That’s my opinion, as I get killed by rangers every other day, but my range is 7 so you can’t expect anything from me.
OK, I can give you some help on quests, complete guides maybe. But, for each part I get you through the quest, it’ll cost you 100gp. Fair enough?
Right then, newcomers. You’ll generally hang around Lumbridge and the Goblins, afraid to go anywhere else. It’s not dangerous. You can make really easy money around here though. Going north-east will lead you to the chickens and cows. Chickens do NO damage, and drop feathers worth up to 5gp each (I reccomend selling them for 3gp each). Cowhides sell 100gp each. Goblins have good drops if your a member and low health. West of the castle are Goblins and Giant Spiders. BEWARE: If going west to Draynor Village, watch out for Jail Guards as they will attack you without and they’re level 26. They can kill you in about 3 hits if you’re a low level. North is Varrock, a safe city. It’s the capital of Runescape and the Grand Exchange is there along with some quests and shops, and the famous Rune Essence.
That’s all for now!
